Would anyone care to re-create a couple of missing manips?

As you may know I reposted the old Hall of Statuary site a while back, but some of the original images had gone AWOL leaving only thumbnails. OK, here's the thing. I've now managed to find the pre-manip versions of a couple of these images. So the thing I was wondering was, could somebody maybe have...

And it's up again. OK, if it keeps coming and going, I (probably) won't keep reporting it. I just wish I knew if Naga was still planning an update. I also wish I knew whether the forum was going to return. Long sigh.

Re: Naga's down

OK, well as I write this at some ungodly hour local time, Naga's website is back but the forum isn't.

I hope it does get back. Having just one forum seems a bit lonely.

Re: Freezing and Wheelchairs

My personal preference is for various kinds of immobilisation. Immobilising somebody who only has partial mobility to begin with doesn't have quite the same ring to it. Plus, freezing somebody who's already disabled may seem a bit tasteless, but then I guess you could say that about the NC elements ...

Re: ASFR.ORG

It occurs to me that there's a lot of ASFR-related art and photomanips on deviantART and Yahoo Groups, maybe also on Flickr and other places... there ought to be a page linking to as many of those art sources as we can find. In the longer term, it would be great if somebody could launch a new site t...

Re: Naga's down

Naga's wasn't just about ASFR. It had all kinds of TF art. It just so happens I have a complete cache of the site from a few months ago (though not the forums, which would take too much space anyway). So there's the possibility of restoring the site as a legacy mirror, assuming Darin/Naga wouldn't m...

Naga's down

The nagasden domain (both site and forum) has been offline for some time now. Sigh. It's not like it hasn't happened before, but this time around it's come months after Darin said there was an update coming. I don't suppose anyone's heard from him?

Does that mean when it expires they'll offer it for sale at an inflated price?

Re: Stuckposing down

Have you tried the Internet Wayback Machine? I'm sure that we can salvage a significant portion of the old boards. Maybe we can have a 'Stuckposing Archive' board here, where we all put important threads, stories ect? Unfortunately the Wayback Machine doesn't do so well at archiving message boards....

Yahoo! Groups fucked up

On-topic because there are still a few decent ASFR Groups there. Proving that Yahoo! learnt nothing from the hatedom surrounding the Flickr revamp, they've now gone and screwed up Yahoo! Groups even worse. Completely deaf to criticism as always, it seems these people are only interested in the opini...

Getting REALLY close! I only have a couple more to edit. I wouldn't mind putting up 'steel trap' too, once it's done.. RL can be *such* a pain! -D- I haven't updated my site in a while, but there are three 2011 stories I don't recall sending you. All relatively short, you'll doubtless be relieved t...

Re: Am I old school now?

I've been online since Easter 1999, discovered the old James ML site about two hours later and have never looked back. Started my own site at the end of May 2000, optimistically dreaming of the deluge of e-mails it would generate... sigh. Still, if nothing else I've managed to archive a lot of the o...

Re: Still looking for HOS images

Thanks to WK I've now managed to find replacements for all the missing images on the Comics and Animation pages, and one on the Stone 2 Gallery page. That still leaves several Gallery images to find, though, particularly on the Freeze page.

Still looking for HOS images

Now that the Hall of Statuary site has been officially reposted, would folks mind taking another look at the Art pages, starting here, just in case there are any missing images that might be lurking in their hard drives or on a disc somewhere? Thanks.

Been a while since I've read the book, but I'm sure there's no ASFR content or I'd have remembered it.

The Weird Tales story "Frozen Beauty" had something to do with cryogenics, but I don't remember the details.
